In an interview with Anupama Chopra, Kareena Kapoor Khan has reacted to Jab We Met and how things changed after the film’s success. Kareena said that she was in the size zero zone because at that time she was working with Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan in Tashan. It was a Yash Raj film and she had the lead role. Along with this, she was doing an action film for the first time. Kareena did not think that Jab We Met would be such a big hit and Tashan would be a flop.
So whenever she used to go to the sets of Jab We Met, she used to say that I need training because I am doing an action film. I have lost weight and I am going to wear a bikini. Let us tell you that Jab We Met was released in 2007 and was directed by Imtiaz Ali. Tashan was released in 2008.
Kareena said that she never thought that things would change like this. She had put everything into the film. But when Tashan flopped and Jab We Met became a hit, she was depressed for 6 months. She was completely shattered. She met Saif Ali Khan on the sets of Tashan. She thought that Tashan would change her career. But Jab We Met completely changed her career and Tashan changed her life. Kareena also said that during this time she and Shahid separated.

Talking about the work front of the actress, she was seen in the film crew. Now she will be seen in Hansal Mehta’s crime thriller The Buckingham Murders. Apart from this, she will also be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again.
